Chronicles of Caledon; A Taste of Steel from the Pictish Winter…

PW

“Behold my great Prince;
From the Steppes past the gloom of the silver mountains across the vastness of the Thunder River will come the king of kings who shall drive back the pestilence and shed light on the darkest corners of this wicked empire.

The son of Lithius and with the purest of brave hearts he shall come and cut down the tyrannical chains of brutality and lift the hearts of men to aspire to the greatest of things in this age. For he is the heritage of the sacred Seven Stones of Talorc — Long live Caledon — Long live the greatest of heroes!”

“The sky reigns with the blackest of arrows released that not only blots out the sun, but hearkens the heart of mere mortals to dread and utter trepidation of whispering doom.

Save these men of the far north of the steppes. These men who’s very hearts forged of the hottest and most purist of forges known. They come to defy the inequity abounds around them. No, these three are the men who the blood of ancient heroes course through and the very word of ‘fear’ they know not and only suffered among the common man.”

“And so the evil is released. In the brink of the chaotic turbulence in the ominous and foreboding storm brave these three men as the Gods look down upon them in silent esteem.

Even in the gaze of certain death, these men will defy to the bitter end. The one who leads with the balance of mind and soul looks to his two companions knowing not even the fangs of death shall not come to know their flesh and spirit.

These are the things of what legends are made of and in this; their very names shall endure throughout all the ages.”
